    VB6 checkboxes in listview

I have set the checkbox property to true, but no checkboxes appear in my listview. Can anyone tell me what else I need to do?

    Thanks in Advance

Could you posibly give a few more details about what you doing, and need to do.

Because, AFAIK the Listview does not have a checkbox property. However you can place a checkbox in the listview..

    Re: VB6 checkboxes in listview

The ListView does indeed have a checkbox property.

When set to true, it should display a checkbox for each listitem. I'm not certain whether this works in all view modes, but I think it should. I always use listview with the view property set to lvwReport so I can have the subitems, so I'm not sure about other view modes.

The checkbox only appears when 1 or more listitems have been added to the listview.

Ivjan777, which view mode are you using with your listview? Have you added items to the listview with the checkbox set to true?

    Re: VB6 checkboxes in listview

The intellisense should show it as listview.Checkboxes, as you can turn them on and off at runtime.

If you add a listview, can you see the checkbox property in the properties window at design time?
