Hello I am in Stuttgart, Germany for a couple of months. As part of CG I would be glad to meet a CG member

. Is there any one whom I can meet or who would like to meet me

BTW I know only English

If I'm not mistaken, then Andreas lives in U.S, but still there are many CG members from Germany you can pay a visit.

Welcome to Germany, MrBeans...

I am about 90 minutes drive away from Stuttgart (120 kms). But, as luck would have it - only this morning was I planning to visit the city in the coming week(end), or the week(end) after. My plans are tentative, but hopefully, we will end up meeting.

BTW, Guido lives in Stuttgart, and it would be nice if he can also spare an evening for some beer and dinner! Being a local, I reckon he can recommend some real good restaurants for this Codeguru Stammtisch! Its been a while since I last met Guido, and it would be great to see him again.

Andreas' location still says that he's based in Germany... But, I haven't really a clue as to which part he lives in (might even be Rhein-Neckar region like me, but not sure). It'll be great if he makes it (for Guido and I missed meeting him last time)... But, perhaps Ejaz is right that he's currently in the US? Only Andreas can tell.

It's very likely that I'll be there over the first week-end of May, so I intend to spend it in Frankfurt.

Last time I was in Germany (February) Guido was unhapy that I didn't let him know, so pobabily we'll ty to meet this time.

Yes, of course I live in Stuttgart, and I would be glad to meet MrBeans (and of course Sid and Cilu as well when you are here).

BTW, Andreas is from near Frankfurt, but he is often in the US or Canada - I never met him in person, although there have been various MVP meetings where we could have met.

MrBeans, where exactly in Stuttgart are you? Just let me know, and I'll arrange something, possibly on a date when Sid can make it too.

You'll bet I can! There's a nice little pub / restaurant which is also the smallest brewery in Stuttgart - they serve a perfect, freshly-brewn, unfiltered beer. So just let me know when...
