Happy birthday to you, Zeb.

quoted from C++ Coding Standards:
KISS (Keep It Simple Software):
Correct is better than fast. Simple is better than complex. Clear is better than cute. Safe is better than insecure.
Avoid magic number:
Programming isn't magic, so don't incant it.

Re: Happy Birthday Zeb
wow guys. haven't been on in like 10 months or something and this!
Thanks heaps.
Lets see - reasoning for not posting.... there's 2.
1. Got a new job, where I was both trying to impress and under the pump big time. Most of my codeguru time was spent while at work cause I really HATED my old job, did 5 times more work then anyone else there, and there was no way they could complain about me spending a little time whilst waiting for builds cruising codeguru!
2. Battlefield 2 came along which, when not doing girlfriend duties meant that I had no time at home!
Anyway, things aren't going as nice as I would have liked at the current job and I'm starting to hate it too. Management get the credit for good stuff, workers get the blame for bad - you know how it is. I'm considered the wonder boy, but I hate the way they treat some of my co-workers who deserve a tonne more respect then they get, so I may well be back here every once in a while!
