Re: Happy Mothers Day!
Romanians have a different way with all western events, it seems...
First it was Easter and now Mother's Day...
Happy Mother's Day to all of you one in ten-thousand members who is female, is reading this , and is also a mother (or in the process of becoming one)...

Or, perhaps, it's the opposite... Remember Newton's third principle of dynamics.

KISS (Keep It Simple Software):
Correct is better than fast. Simple is better than complex. Clear is better than cute. Safe is better than insecure.
Avoid magic number:
Programming isn't magic, so don't incant it.

Well Sid, I can presume, unlike we do, you are celebrating also Thanksgiving Day and, of course, the Independence Day on July 4 as well.

Well....
Wikipedia
In many African countries, Mother's Day has its origins in copying the British concept. In most of East Asia, Mother's Day is a heavily marketed and commercialized concept copied straight from Mother's Day in the USA.
...and...
Wikipedia
Different countries celebrate Mother's Day on various days of the year because the day has a number of different origins.
... so why are you wondering we celebrate it in another day?
