Safe CGI using VC++...how?
Hi there...
Since I am using VC++ to do my proposed CGI, I will paste my doubts here… Hope you people don’t mind.
Ok, I am able to create the CGI using VC++, but I have some doubts about the CGI in general and if it is reliable or not.
I am dealing with sensitive information, so, when I store it on my server, it is encrypted.
How do I know if my CGI is safe enough? Although I am using really good encryption to save and keep the information safe. Is the good encryption enough?
How do I create the “safe web page” ? Does it have something to do with my CGI? I mean, to put the little lock down bellow the browser that means the web page is safe for transactions.
Any help will be welcomed, suggestions, hints... etc.
Cheers everyone.
Desva.
