I read what they showed in last week's episode. Before that episode, they had not made it clear what it was. Flying was what we were lead to believe.

Ok.
<MIGHT BE A SPOILER>
I think Peter has power like Rogue.
Becuase Peter has flown, but only when he was with brother.
And he did that thing he did last episode, when he was with Issac.
huh

Rogue saps power. Peter has the ability to mimic other people's powers. That is what you saw with the painting and that is what you saw with the flying. I believe that is also why Future Hiro contacted him -- because by being near him, he can take on the ability to manipulate space/time and thus be able to interact with Hiro outside of normal time (I liked the scar comment when they talked )
One of my questions is in regard to Hiro's friend - does he have any powers? He seems to find people quite easily.... ?

Re: Save the Cheerleader, Save the World
That makes a lot of sense why he contacted Peter and nobody else.
Krishnaa:
I'm more curious to see who the bad guys are and why they capture our 'Heroes'. I bet Sylar is trying to steal everybodies powers. So far we only know of the two.
The Story with Cheerleader is going to be great though. Her foster-father, if he isn't the really her father, is the bad guy.

Re: Save the Cheerleader, Save the World
I'll have to admit that I didn't think much of it the first show, so I prolly switched it off. After watching the webcasts, I watched a few shows.
I like it. Thanks, Brad, for recommending it.

I'm pretty sure he isn't her father.
I'm not willing to say he is the bad guy yet.... they are trying to get us to believe he is, so I have to question that he is....

Re: Save the Cheerleader, Save the World
I think that Claire's father is not a bad guy. He did not do any harm to anyone yet, and he has had lotta chances, and every time he let hero go. He did not even harm the ****er who was trying to rape his step-daughter (even if he does not want good for her, I think that he would take a chance and do something bad to someone who deserves bad). I think that the only person, who Claire's father and/or his companions killed, is professor. Professor was co-operating in some way with Sylar, and Sylar for sure is a bada**. I cannot guess yet why Sylar kills, but I bet that it is not to gain all forces. Rather to get free of his one, and live like normal man. And Peter is probably someone like Captain Planet, I wouldnt like to know what will happen whe he will come close to 5 heros.
Or maybe Sylar wants to make Earth clean of all these freaks, thats why he searches for them, destroys their brains, and, in the grande finale, he takes them all to N.Y. and fries with nuclear blast. Really, interesting.
B+!

Moreover, I think that Hiro's friend is not a hero (or will not team up with them), but Simone may be.

He might have bigger plans like magneto had...
BTW Heroes have too much in common with X-men, at least to start with.

Heroic attempt, indeed Thats why Hiro said: 'You do not need superpowers to be a superhero'.

Isn't that enough? He's like 9, imagine what will be his IQ when he turns 16. Or maybe he will become more stupid, because he will become interested with girls?
Anyway, I think that for now I like Hiro most, and I do not like lizard-man (Mohinder, you know), because he is a bit boring as for now.

Re: Save the Cheerleader, Save the World
well it is enough as a boy genius, what i mean is that, he has a mother with an alternate personality and a father who walks walls, just like kitty in X-men. He has the 2 genes of his parents, he might have both abilities
yup.. yup.. mohinder is a bit boring.. just setting in his little branch in his warm aquarium, doing nothing..
