I tired installing SQL server 2005 express in one pc n I got an error. Here is the log file

The client PC got Windows XP service pack 2, .Net 2.0. ALso, he's an admin. I even disabled his firewall n switch off his antivirus... still no luck.

Any Ideas? Thanks in advance

try re-downloading Sql Server Express SP1 from here
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/sql/download/
You only need the first file (SP1), see if that works.
