    I am also having the same problem.....i was not using master pages ...... but when i used the same code and controls in other project ... it worked...
    I coulnd understand y same code behaves differently on two seperate projects.......

    its not a solution..... as mine project was verry small so i re-created it the same way.....but i too wana know the reason

    Welcome to the forums, aamirhabibkhan. Please remember to create a new thread when you have a question and not post over someone else's. This will help to avoid confusion. Also, you have posted the same thing twice in just 2 minutes. I will have a moderator remove the second.

    Can you show some source code and maybe we can get this worked out?

    I didnt mean to do what i did...

    the source code it as follow....as it started giving errors....so i stoped extending it and created another which worked finely....
