    Question Creating custom setup project

    Hi to all.
    I want to create setup project for C# apllication. I want to read information of setup forms (like banner icon, what data was copying to instalation folder and ... ) from an external file such az ini file.
    How can i do it?

    plz help me.

    Installshield is an IDE that supports making of installation packages for applications. Probably you can try using it but it is not free!

    Try to use Innosetup script IMHO its free look here for a script version

    or as an executeable

    ok, thanks a lot.

    But I want to create one setup project for multi projects, that means it has one MSI (or EXE) that read its data (such as dialog icon file path) from a file.

    Randem started charging for Innosetup script a few years ago, but it worked well back then. Haven't used it for dot.net apps

    I'm not sure about the script versio, but IMHO the exe version can do that( the second link I gave you )
