    Hearty congratulations, Sid!

    Last time I was supposed to author a book this voluminous, I didn't even get beyond the first rough topic outline - I had to cancel the project when it became apparent how much time and effort it would mean. :O And so... I value and appreciate your tremendous achievement all the more.

    And... thank you so much again for granting me the priviledge of being one of the very first persons who are able to hold and read a printed copy.

    Dear Folks!

    Thank you very much for your wishes, and also for inspiration on the direction the TYC++ series needed to take!

    In addition to introducing the programming syntax, loops, et al to the C / C++ beginner, this book also teaches templates and STL in reasonable detail, and hence caters to readers who wish to learn C++ from a practical perspective i.e. the way it is in use today.

    Last but not the least: many thanks to Brad for introducing my book to you all - I owe you at least one beer for that, Brad!
