    ListView styles

I'm currently learning about ListViews and one thing that I've noticed is that whatever I write does not use XP styles rather they appear to be Windows 98like styles. In this screenshot I have my program to the right with a style that looks like it was running on windows 98 and on the left I have windows task manager. My question is how can I "enable" my program to XP styles?
    PS. I'm using MSVS 2008.
    Thank you

    What happened to your screenshot?

Is it a project generated by VS2008?
Does your project use manifest file? How? What is in a manifest file?

Ah that did it, thanks for reminding me about the manifest, I don't know what happened to link of to the screenshot though. Adding the proper manifest fixed my problem cheers.
