Help with java xml parser app...

    Hello,

I have a program that parses an xml file. I got the program to compile, but i get a message in Eclipse telling me "<terminated>RateParserDemo" in the pane of the console window. If I delete the class files I get a 'ClassNotFoundError'. Can anyone point me in the direction to how I get get the code to compile. i attached it to this thread in a .zip file....

So did the code compile or not?

Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler...

Most of us won't open attachments so can you post the code inline (if it's a large file post just the relevant part) remembering to use code tags.

    "<terminated>RateParserDemo"
Is this a part of your xml file?
And have you checked to make sure it is not malformed?

"<terminated>RateParserDemo" means in Eclipse that your RateParserDemo has finished the execution. It will happen for every Java app, more or less.

Quite right. I've used Eclipse for a while now and never noticed that message appear in the console window status line - well spotted.
