LANSA developer learning C#
Hi, I've been developing software for 10 years including 2 years of Synon 2E and the last 8 years Visual LANSA.
Rolled off of a long telecommuting contract at the end of Dec '08 and there seem to be no LANSA jobs in the entire country!
So, late January I bought "Visual C# 2008 - Step by Step" by John Sharp and just finished the book.
Please reassure me that C#.NET is the way to go and that there are jobs out there.
BTW, LANSA uses some similar object oriented techniques such as methods, properties, classes, etc. so Windows programming is not foreign to me ;-)
Also I'm in Temple, Texas (between Dallas and Austin).
All input is appreciated!

Visual Studio 2008 isn't going away anytime soon (other than the release of 2010)
There are a lot of computers in the world
