I'm searching for the best subject title, especially while posting questions.
My favourites are:
#10: "Please solve it"
#9: "Programming question" (of course in a programming board...)
#8: "Debug Assertion failed"
#7: "Noobie. Pls.hlp......."
#6: "Need help"
#5: "Question"
#4: "<xxx>" where <xxx> is exactly the name of the board the post is in
#3: "Help"
#2: "Help!"
#1 (Winner): "Help! Urgent!"
Do you have other favourites?
Suggestions?
If this thread will have collected some nice subjects I suggest the moderators to:
- Add a search function where I can search for posts ordered by subject quality. This will be nice ... I'll enjoy to use this function!
The question itself is not so stupid. The OP really wants the compiler to fail if the developer makes something wrong. But anyway I think it sounds funny, doesn't it?
Here the subject has been "How To Create A User". Is there anybody out there reading that the same way I did? Explaining my minds is far beyond the topic of this forum and should be "child protected".
Without any doubt, the worst subject line I have ever seen on Code Guru is.....
"Wanted: Most stupid (=best) subject"
