    Encryption maintain the file size

    Hello..

    Im looking for encryption method to encode/decode text file in C++
    Is there some kind of encryption that maintain the size of the file without much increase .
    I try base64 ..but the file size was increased .

    Base 64 encoding is not encryption. What is this encryption for?

    Sorry I mean encoding of the string .

    Well... the simplest encoding I can think of is to do none at all. That will maintain your file size. As a bonus, it is very efficient. Optimal, in fact.

    So, what is this encoding for?
