checking if file was started by user

hi, what would be the best way to check if a file was started manually by the user (for example they double clicked on it)
or it was started by windows (auto startup)

You could check the Run keys of the registry and the Startup folder to check if the filename exists.
I love work. It gives me something to do between weekends.
