Noob Need Help

Hello,

I'm working a summer internship and I think I can automate some processes that salaried employees now do by hand.

I want to be able to develop programs to acess internet sites, input username and passwords, navigate a site, and copy and paste data from the site's display into excel.

If I wanted write code to do this, which languages/script do I need to learn and how do I go about doing this?

Any language that you are comfortable with. Automation of entering username and password is not a good idea because now almost all sites have a security called Captcha. You can't override that security.
