Unhappy Tracing all outgoing http request in a local system

    Hi!,
Actually i want to litsten all http requests and response back locally if request made if for some particular domain. I get on some forums to do this by packet filtering but this gives a dumb of all request in raw form. Is there any way in c# to just get log all the outgoing domain requests and restrict some particular requests.

Can you do this? Yes. Is it easy? No. You're basically building your own firewall of sorts. Capturing the http request is a task in and of it self but actually stopping these requests will be more difficult.

Check out this project, it won't get you all of the way there but it should get you a good head start and give you some ideas on how to get the packets and analyze them. If you have any specific questions about how to do it after looking through his code then by all means ask us, we'll do our best to help you.
