    cross-compiling help

OK, so I want to cross-compile hexcurse (A command line hex editor) for windows from my Ubuntu box, and I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how. I have almost no experience compiling programs beyond ./configure, make, and make install. Hexcurse uses the shared library libncurses, and I was wondering if i could link that with with hexcurse so the final product would be one executable that runs without having to be installed (If that's even possible.) Any help or suggestions for where to find help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like there is a version of ncurses for Windows, so this might be possible.
