outlook 2007
Hi All,
I need to send an e-mail to a couple of people, but do not want them to know it was from me. How can I send an e-mail and stop my name displaying in the 'from' field.
If you find my answers helpful, dont forget to rate me

Change your name for that account? They'll still know it's from your email address, but not the WHO part

Re: outlook 2007
If you use outlook, it will associate your IP to the email and thus identify where the email came from.

I don't think there is no such thing as anonymous e-mail in Outlook.

Re: outlook 2007
An email is always identify, mainly if you use a software as Outlook. The more easy is effectively to use a free mail.
Your IP'll allways visible but you can use a proxy (Tor network by example) to connect to your webmail.

No matter what you do, they can always track it back to you. Sure, someways require more work and effort but still do-able.
If your worried about it being tracked back to you then perhaps dont send it at all.
