    dolphin 6.1.6

    So i purchased the dolphin community script and in mozilla the ads are gone. but in IE the ads are there....what is going on???

    The site is blackberrypinpal.com and if you look at the bottom that is where it is. I have no idea how to get rid of these. they are apparently commented out in the html file. Thanks for all your help

    Code:
    			<div class="clear_both"></div>
    		</div>
    		</div>	</div>	</div>	</div>	</div>	</div>	</div>	</div>	</div>	</div>
    		<div class="dolphin-footer">
    		<!--	__boonex_footers__-->
    		</div>

    <div class="dol_footerR">
    	<div class="dol_footerL">
    		<div class="dol_footerC">
    		<div class="bottomCopyright">
    		<!--	<div class="bottomLinks">
    				__BMI_Links__
    				__BMI_News__
    				__BMI_ContactUs__
    				__BMI_About__
    				__BMI_Privacy__
    				__BMI_Termsofuse__
    				__BMI_FAQ__
    				__BMI_Feedback__
    				__BMI_Aff__
    				__BMI_Invitefriend__
    				__BMI_Bookmark__
    			</div>-->
    			<div class="bottomCpr">__copyright__</div>
    <div class="bottomLinks"> Founder: David Morin</div>	</div>
    		</div>
    	</div>
    </div>

    	<!--__includebase _footer.html__ -->
    	</div>
    New to PHP and MySql. Started looking at scripts about a week ago. So far have very little understanding of it. So please be easy with me if I ask a stupid question.

    Re: dolphin 6.1.6

    The problem is a difference in how IE and Firefox read comment tags. The actual "__boonex_footers__" reference outputs a quite bit of comment tag and closes it right away.

    Code:
    <!--
    <!-- -->
    In IE, it's actually reading it as though the commented section is closed before the boonex footer shows up. Then the extra closing --> at the end would be invalid markup.

    Instead of commenting it out, misspell it.
