    Re: blue screen

my client didn't tell me. he only told me that he did a driver update and install an app. i need to tell him how to roll back the driver and uninstall the app (if he can boot to Safe Mode, he may uninstall the program, but he could not). now the problem is that he could not log in to do something based on the error msg.

Tell him to boot to the last known good configuration or try a system restore point.

there is no System Restore in F8 preboot menu. my client is using xp. do you mean to select Safe Mode first and then go to System Restore? he could not log into safe mode.

    thanks for your time!

XP Home? If so, that might explain it.
