How can I find crash address on win7

    Hello,

my vc++ release version crashed on win7 on an user system sometimes.
But how can I find out the crash address ? Is there a crash-report file somewhere ?
I have the map-file, but no crash address !!

    thx.

Do you mean that there is no any useful information by crashing your App?
Try to look at the Event Viewer (if it exists in Win7)

When the app crashed there appears only a window with some information like "a problem occured...bla bla" and a "Cancel"-button.

Where can I find the Event Viewer (if there is one) ?

There are tools that can help you with report crashes. For instance, we are using a commercial tool called BugSplat.
