I'd like to create a simple application in ASP as I am new to web programming

I have a form and I would like to create a response page to handle the send message after form has been filled in and submit button is clicked
I don't know how to call it Csharp-ly

ASP or ASP.NET. Have you consider buying a book to learn ASP.NET programming?
