    mail function

I have frequently seen the php mail function used with some variations. Some are just written start with "mail", others start with "@mail". What is the difference, and when do we use which?

    Re: mail function

The function is mail(). The symbol @ just tells PHP not to record an error in the log if one is encountered. You can do that with any PHP function.
