    Talking turn off printer

    hi guyz,
    i need to turn off a printer ( my default printer ) using a script.
    anyone knows how?

    i have a panel that controls the printing queue of a printer.
    i need a button to turn off a printer connected to my computer

    Why not just cancel the printing job. Turning off a printer is not the right way to cancel a job.

    i already made a script for canceling a job, turning the printer offline, resume and pause.
    id like to turn off a printer thru my program.

    You still have not explained why you have to do this, to any one. If youy do not give a proper reason as to why you want to switch off a printer, I would assume you plannig to write something malicious, and close this thread. So, I ask one more time nicely, why do you need this ¿

    im making a program that controls printing jobs, delete queue jobs, giving printing permission to clients in the network. selecting who can print in the host printer.
    and after all the work and we will now close the room, i will click a button to turn off the printer.
