    Uninstallation of the application

    HI,

    I am facing a problem that after uninstallation of our application through Add/remoe programs, some folders are not getting removed and these need to be manually deleted. When i checked for the attributes of the files in them in File System Editor (of .vdproj file) , there is one attribute called "Permanent", its value was true. I changed its value to False, created the package of application. But even then the problem is still persisting. Could anyone please let me know what could be the reason for this.

    Thanks,
    Sravani

    Re: Uninstallation of the application

    msdn says about the Permanent property that
    The expected behavior is that uninstalling an application should remove everything that was installed by the application.
    are those folders created by the installer or by the application itself?
    win7 x86, VS 2008 & 2010, C++/CLI, C#, .NET 3.5 & 4.0, VB.NET, VBA... WPF is comming
