C++ Programmer Wanted - London, UK
Our company has developed the world’s first 3D walkthrough virtual online software for trade and consumer shows.
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and ambitious qualified software engineer to become our lead in-house programmer to spearhead further development of our cutting edge 3D virtual online trade show software.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about programming – someone who loves working with new technologies and enjoys learning and developing new language skills to apply to best effect. Knowledge of C++ is required in addition to experience of working at all stages of software development – Mac OSX application development and/or porting experience would also be a definite plus. Due to the nature of the application, the position would appeal to someone with a strong interest in 3D design and development of MMO game/simulation environments.
Development will include a crossover between desktop and web applications which requires a good grounding in web-based languages and will give you the opportunity to develop smaller web applications to meet the needs of the community in addition to the central desktop application. We would be very interested to hear from candidates with an academic background in computer or mathematical sciences.
You’ll be working within a small and very enthusiastic team who are looking to take this groundbreaking application from its early stages through to global success. So in addition to your technical and problem solving skills, it’s important you feel most at home in a fast paced, start up environment.
This position is full time and based in London, UK with a remuneration package dependent on the individual.
Please drop me a line if you'd like more information on the role/company - or if you know anyone who might be interested please pass on my email address firstname.lastname@example.org so they can get in touch.
