Mapping to server on Vista PC

    Hello all,

First off all i want to apologize for my English. My mothertongue is Dutch, but I'll try to explain my problem as clear as possible.

I've designed an application that connects to an access database and who stores files on a server in some folder. My PC is running Vista. For some obscure reason I just can't connect to a network drive. When I place a DriveList on my form it shows only the physical drives on my laptop and none of the drives which are mapped by windows. When i try to force VB to map to the drive then nothing happens, not an error, not nothing. I just can't seem to access any network drive, even with API tricks.

Can any one tell me if it is possible with Vista and what I should do to make it happen.
    thanks in advance

Need more details. What kind of netowork?

I'd try to connect via \\cpuName to see if you are prompted for user/pw,

Once you're connected, run it again.
