Export to Text file - Remove Carriage Returns

I have a Crystal Report 10 report that I need to export to a text line.
This is for an EDI export/import. It is 1 line of copy.
The problem is that it adds 5 line feeds or carriage returns at the end of the txt file.
Is there a way to get rid of those?
