    Windows Messaging

I have an application that can display a complete list of all the open windows of different applications. Now I want to automatically update that list when someone opens, close, resize or move a window.

Using Timer to update the list is a CHEAP!!!!! approach
CBTProc hook can be used to find out if an application window has been open, closed, moved or resized. Now I want the OS to send message to my application whenever CBTProc experience any change in window, so that my application can update the list.

So how can I define a user defined message that will send message to my application whenever an application window has been updated?

    Thanks in Advance

    Re: Windows Messaging

Post a WM_APP message to your application
Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place.
Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by
definition, not smart enough to debug it.
