    Capture Sound card output

    HI,

    Basically I am looking to create a program (to run on Linux) to get audio from the sound card so that it can be later processed, possibly after being saved as a .wav.

    Could anyone point me to any links/documentation where I can read up on how this would be achieved as I'm not sure where to start.
