Arrow Send ASCII through the Ethernet port

Hello. I have a Galil Motion Controller which I want to send it commands in ASCII. I have no clue on how to do this. It's IP address is 169.254.244.246 I that is needed.

I just need to know how to send an ASCII string through the Ethernet port.

Does the manufacturer not offer sample code or programming hints in its documentation or on its web site?
