The title is rather broad, I'm aware, but I couldn't decide on anything better.
All I need is a way to turn every 1/10th of a second (or every second) of an MP3 song into a unique ID (dependent upon that snip-it's sound) so I can use it as a variable. I'd like to use C++ but if you can suggest a better language, please do.
What I do with this unique ID I can handle from there, but I'm completely lost on this particular subject and would love some direction
