my ajaxcontroltookit is not working

hi guys. anybody has any idea why my ajax is not working?
i use VS 2008 Version 3.5 ( and OS Windows 7, tho i am not sure it my OS has anything to do wit it)

we need a little bit more information than "not working". What isn't working? are you receiving errors?

initially i was working on windows xp and transferred to windows 7. i started getting errors and the designer could not render the controls i had added ajax controls to. yesterday i downloaded the latest version of ajax but i can't drag control extenders from the toolbox and drop them in the designer view. i can work well by typing everything in the source view, but i can't add the extenders directly to the controls in the designer view.

you need to add the controls to the toolbox. Most likely, the controls you are trying to drag are from the old version. Remove them from the toolbox, then re-add the ones from the new version.

i have done so. but i can't drag and drop the controls from the toolbox.
