Preface doubts

I used to read books quite often, and I paid attention to the preface part,
All writers tend to thank their helpers during the writing

1.Do those helpers really exist ?
2.If some do, then are they their real (IDcard's) names ?

I wonder where they are living too, what jobs and what companies they are doing ?

etc
capabilities within your work if you don't specify any. That's probably how professionals will evaluate it.
If you lead a class in college, what do you think if some students in your class get all A/A+ while they never appear in your lectures ?

If writing books is your only income to earn a living, then please make it right, legal and professional.
My doubts do not spoil your food, do they ?
