[DDE] Ndde? Mark Hurd's? DDEML? Other?
Hello
I'm a VB.Net newbie and need to interact with a deadware Windows application that only supports DDE to communicate with external applications. FWIW, I use Visual Basic 2008 Express.
According to Google, there seems to be three ways to connect a VB.Net app to a DDE server:
- NDde (2.01.0563 source code uploaded Jun 7 2007)
NDde
- Mark Hurd's VB.Net DDE sample
Mark Edwin Hurd
- Using the DDEML DLL
Perform interprocess communication using the DDE Management Library from VB
Before diving it, I'd like to get some feedback from experienced VB.Net developpers on how best to work with DDE.
Thank you.
