o Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager/ Team Lead
o Develop a detailed testing strategy, test cases and test scripts
o Execute test cases
o Document testing results
o Capture s/w defects
o Provide root cause analysis
o Work closely with the development team to resolve them

o Develop and author a detailed automated testing strategies from concept to launch to maintenance, from end to end along with accurate time lines and benchmark commitments.
o Develop and execute detailed functional, performance, integration, and regression test cases and documentation
o Create automated test scripts
o Work closely with development and systems to re-generate scenarios in the QA environment, capture logs, and provide root cause analysis
o Utilize various system utilities, networking, and verification tools to pinpoint abnormal behaviors
o Report and track defects through the defect management tool

o Extensive experience with Mercury Test tools (QTP, QC) from concept to product launch and live support
o Excellent verbal and written communications skills
o Extensive experience in the fields of QA and SDLC; hands-on experience with QA tools, QA methodologies and procedures
o Good hands-on experience with SQL
o Working knowledge of databases
o Deadline oriented and able to manage projects to completion and multi-task
o Clear understanding of Business Requirements and Technical documentation as they apply to projects
o Experience in writing test documentation
o Knowledge and experience in tracking problems and defects
o Experience in web based applications testing
o Testing on various operating systems and browsers
o University/Community College degree in Computer Science / Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
o Load testing experience considered an asset.
