    Need help with database -

    Hey all!

I have an old program that runs in DOS. I have purchased a new program from another company that is...lets just say... up to date!

The problem that I am having is we can't find a way to get the old DOS programs database of all of my customers, transactions, etc. over to the new asp.net program.

I have been told that I need to find a way to get the old database into a a readable file like excel.

I am willing to learn from whoever or to possibly work with anyone on a more private bases. Please let me know if anyone is interested!

FYI: The company that built the new program has been working on this for a few months...so they say... and I have NOTHING!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Without knowing what format the old database is in, it's impossible to tell you how to read/convert it.

What extension are the files? Some old DOS programs invented their own storage systems.
