Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is a 24 year-old proprietary trading firm located just outside of Philadelphia, PA. Here, you will work on a team with some of the most talented software developers on Wall Street, design and develop mission-critical, real-time distributed trading systems, collaborate with business leaders, and have the opportunity to make your mark by shaping our proprietary trading platform.

Here you will:
• Work with an amazing team, use cutting-edge technology, and see the immediate impact of your work
• Be a leader: engage in problem solving, software architecture, and interface design. Implement code other programmers want to use.
• Design and develop large distributed systems that extend our business capabilities
• Locate and optimize performance bottlenecks in distributed systems
• Focus on system integration, configurability, manageability, stability, scalability, and performance
• Apply an understanding of trading and financial markets to technical decision making.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, especially defining problems, robust solutions, and architecture

This is the place for you if you have:
• A passion for technology and solving tough problems
• Amazing technical skills in either a Linux or Windows environment. (Most of our development is done in C++ or C#)
• At least a bachelor's degree in a technical or related discipline and seven years of experience designing and developing applications using C++, C#, or Java in a heterogeneous technology environment. (Experience may substitute for education.)
• Expertise in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of business process and applications
• Demonstrated success collaborating with business partners to make critical design decisions
• Strong communication skills and the desire to work in a collaborative environment

The perks include but aren’t limited to:
• Casual dress
• An environment that is collaborative and collegial (with each other), yet competitive (with our competitors)
• Onsite wellness center and gym (and no, it’s not just two exercise bikes from 1991)
• A concierge, dry cleaning, barber services, tailoring, car detailing, car maintenance, and discounts at local attractions
• Company poker tournament

*We are looking for full time employees. Telecommuting is not an option.
