something wrong with my textpad ??

i installed textpad at home, also installed some java and stuff, but my TextPad doesn't show color coding, its just all black text. It's pretty annoying when all thing just black anyone help me please ??
im new at this so really appreciate if u could show step by step

You would be better served posting on a TextPad forum. Most of us use professional tools such as intelliJ or Eclipse, some even use Netbeans, so you are not likely to find much help here.

Did you look at the Textpad help file for 'syntax highlighting' or 'colors'?
