Period of Performance
The period of performance for this task shall commence on 1 March 2011 and end on 29 February 2012. There are two option years available on this contract.

TS required for all positions on this contract.

The Software Engineer works with the project team to determine software requirements and plans, designs, develops and implements customized software project solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Designs, implements, and modifies software applications following standard corporate software engineering processes.
• Updates, repairs, and modifies existing software programs.
• Tests software and evaluates and corrects software deficiencies.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline, e.g., computer science, computer engineering.

Performance Work Statement (PWS):
Federal Contract working with Global Force Management Data Initiative (GFMDI) "Forces For." The long-term goal is to automate the Assignment, Allocation and Apportionment of forces processes. Some of the PWS requirements of the personnel assigned are as follows:
-Continue development of the Collaborative Issue Resolution Tool (CIRT) application that supports the current "Forces For" approval process between remote organizations (such as Combatant Commands) via the web browser interface.
-Continue development of the Automated Global Force Management Tool (AGT) application, which shall include these capabilities.
