[RESOLVED] [IMG] tags apparently don't work on the C++ and WinAPI forum

It appears that the [img]http://forums.codeguru.com/[/img] tags don't work on C++ WinAPI forum section?
I tried to post one here, but it's rendered as a link.
Is this some bug, or it's on purpose.?

Also, the Insert Image button doesn't appear at all on the reply UI.

I used the Manage Attachments feature and it told me the jpg was too large.

Hm... strange - for several reasons; first, it works on other forum sections (tested it here with the same image), and second, it's just a link, not an attachment. What does the system mean by "too large" - takes too much memory, or takes too much screen space?
This also doesn't explain why is the "Insert Image [tags]" button missing only in that forum section (at least when I tried to post).

Anyway, it's not that big of a deal, it just seems a bit weird.
So which one is it: bug, or a feature?

Weird. The JPEG is slightly more than 41 kB in size, significantly less than the 100 kB maximum for JPEGs displayed by the Manage Attachments window to me.

Also, it seems to only not work in the thread TheGreatCthulhu linked to (or perhaps the entire forum section it resides in). Here's the image tag from his post over there, just copied out of the post editor window after clicking Quote:

In addition, I can confirm that the Insert Image button doesn't show up in the post editor over there while it does in the very editor I'm writing this post in. (The two attached screen shots were taken from replying to the thread TheGreatCthulhu linked to and the editor I'm typing in right now, both after clicking Quote.)

If you look at the bottom of the forum, you'll see there is a list of what is on and off on the given forum. In the forum mentioned, IMG is currently turned off.

And now IMG is turned on in WinAPI. I don't recall why it was off.

Yeah, actually the behaviour of the forum software was quite consistent: Image tags don't work and no image button. That should have allowed to easily conclude that it's turned off. (Actually I had just that idea, a few hours after writing my post and while I was away from the PC.) Sometimes people simply overlook the obvious...

And thanks for turning it on (though I, myself, am not a regular on that section).

    Brad!
Thanks! Especially because seeing images directly in the posts comes really handy when discussing architecture/design. Besides, sometimes it's just easier to show something, along with a few concise comments. Saves time, saves words.

@Eri523: thanks for helping out with this .
