    Strange noises

    Before I report this to admin...

    Is anyone else getting strange sporadic noises coming from their PC loudspeaker when they visit Codeguru? Every time I come here I get strange noises (almost like something 'sliding') that come out of my speaker every few minutes. They last for a second or so and then disappear. It's really annoying. Doesn't happen on any other site.

    Hi John,

    I was getting the same last week, doesn't seem to happen today. Sounded like an advert starting up, then stopping after a second or less.

    Yeah, that's the impression I got. I spent ages scanning my computer for a virus!!!

    I might be wrong but I get the feeling it's connected with the Adobe advert. If so, Adobe have found a guaranteed way to ensure that I DON'T buy their products.

    I'm still leaning towards this being a problem with the Adobe advert. At the moment, this seems to be permanently on screen (down at the bottom of each page). I'm hearing the same problem both on my Windows box and my Mac.

    I'm tempted to report it to admin Alan, but it seems to be only you and me who've experienced it....
