Combine Audio and Video files
Hi all,
Let's say I have an audio file (.WAV file) that's 6 seconds long, and a video file (.AVI file) that's 1 minute long.
Is it possible to merge the two files into a 1 minute 6 seconds file (.AVI file??)
I did a little research on using .XTL to merge two files, but I am unclear whether it will work for combining audio and video files. Any suggestions?
Thank you,
kab

Re: Combine Audio and Video files
I'd use a ready-made open, source tool for this purpose. Here is a link to the list of editing software on Wikipedia (and you should look at the open source category): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ource_software
Having not done this, I'm not 100% sure what to suggest. Mencoder is probably a good place to start looking. Google around a bit; I'm sure someone else has wanted to do this before!
Good luck!
