    Datagridview - Search button resets the DDL fields

    Hi,
    I have developed a Data Grid View application. When its in EDIT mode and the user click the search button to filter the data it reset the DDL fields in that row and changes the record when the user click Update button.
    I want to restrict search button to not to work when the row is in Edit mode or while entering New record.
