My advice would be NOT to read it, because that's the cause of the problem .

I can make a true prediction about the end of the world. In about 5 billion years the sun will run out of fuel and turn into a red giant, but we won't see that happen, because in about 1/1.5 billion years our planet will be to hot and too dry to live on. O... and that rapeture thing... forget about it.

BTW, AFAIK 30 years ago some guy has predicted a severe earthquake in Rome for May 11th 2011. Of course a lot of people feared that when the day was approaching. And there actually was an eathquake that day, it just was in Spain. So, was the guy basically right and just off by some 100 km?

Yet more BTW, according to the list on Wikipedia this has been the first quake in Spain since the last 55 years. (The list may be incomplete, however.)

I've heard that we probably won't be bothered by the sun turning into a red giant. To get to that point we have two great obstacles to overcome in the "near" future...

The first one is that earth lose the moon (it's moving away by about 4 cm / year). At some point the earth axis becomes un-stable and we end up with a totally unpredictable climate. For instance several years where same side of the earth face the sun i.e. pretty hot on one side and pretty cold on the other. Well I assume we can always give Bruce Willis a couple of nukes and send him to fix the issue.

The next might require quite a lot of nukes though. The Milky Way will collide with the Andromeda in about 3,5 billion years. So far they haven't manage to calculate if our arm will be involved in the collision but on the other hand they aren't in a big hurry yet either...

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place.
Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by
definition, not smart enough to debug it.

    Re: 21 May 2011 - 'Judgment Day'

I think everyone is missing something important....

June 3rd on our calendar is May 21st on the Julian Calendar.
The end might be coming in 10 days...
    Or maybe its 11 days...
    or maybe 12
    or maybe 13485672 days

I'd like to go out on a limb and predict that there is a country north of the USA called "Canada".

I don't get the stupid idea of people thinking that they will (or need to be) judged.

Okay there are always sickos out there and in EVERY field The bible clearly says not to listen to these people So don't bash the bible when it actually proves these people are NUTS.

It is to keep people in "check".... You wouldn't do anything stupid if you didn't think you could get away with it.... right?

Again the bible states many times over that these people "CAN'T" predict. Matthew 24:36. I suggest reading that whole chapter. http://www.blueletterbible.org/Bible...=24&v=&t=KJV#4

You can be atheist and be NUTS... I am sure this happened as well

    ROFL ...

    I love this ...
On the other hand I suggest you should read:
    The Apocalypse For Dummies
    Yellow Pages
    Bosch Automotive Handbook
or just watch Doctor Who .. He's been to the end of time , and proved that humans are still around then :P..

So don't bash the bible when it actually proves these people are NUTS.
This is a good one... and semi true... Many Bible Punchers Quote only One verse and build a big long Preaching about what it means, when in fact a few lines before and/after it's explained fully (and opposite to what was preached) ...

I myself am religious, and know the bible reasonably well, but do not push my views on others. and also appreciate it when others dont push there views on me ..

Remember a tool is a tool... I am more worried about the idiot behind that tool
No matter The tool, There is always an idiot behind at least one.
