    Converting a Visual Studio web application to a windows application

    Hello!



    I have recently built a website in visual studio 2008.. Now i want to convert it into a desktop application. If there is any procedure then guide me .. Or i have to build it from scratch????

    Basically I agree, you will start from scratch building a windows application... but... the good news is much of your processing logic can pulled right into your new project and compile without any issues... the starting over is mostly about your interface. Creating forms to handle what your pages handled, and changing code that deals with the UI to deal with winform controls rather than web controls etc.

    If you seperated your 'business logic' from your UI, it shouldn't end up being too dificult... maybe time consuming based on the size of the app... but not too hard.
