    Continues Monitoring Files

    Hi,

    I need some help.

    I will like to monitor files in a specific folder.

    The concept is whenever a file is added/created inside a folder. It will send an alert or notification.
    The monitoring is a continues process once I build the code.

    Is there any examples for me to look at it or do I need to write it in other programming language?

    Currently, using Visual C++.

    Thanks whoever can help.

    Re: Continues Monitoring Files

    Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place.
    Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are, by
    definition, not smart enough to debug it.

    Depending on your needs you may consider using one of the WMI classes: CIM_DirectoryContainsFile or CIM_DataFile. It requires some experience in using COM interfaces.
