    Talking 3ds max to .x file converter

    Hello, I am trying to solve an issue I'm having. I need to know where I can get a free 3ds to .x file converter. It is maddening, I have gone to tons of supposedly free sites and on ALL of them I had to pay and some just sent me to dead-end sites where they don't even have it. Just promoting or trying to rip me off. So please whosoever happens upon this message, please help me find a converter. Remember, I need a free, FREE 3ds to .x file converter for DirectX 9. Thank you.

    I don't use a seperate program to convert 3ds to mesh files. There is a plugin for 3dsmax which does that for you. Broaden your search by typing "plugin" also. Once you downloaded that, you can go and click extract on 3dsmax and the .x option will be available.
